Sand Art Is like Life, Where Both Good and Bad Things Will fade away.

Of course, unlike ordinary paintings, sand animation cannot be copied at will, especially Minta’s sand art works. This is because, besides having a solid foundation in fine arts, he has studied such cultural basics as Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, etc., which in turn impart a special aura that is difficult to imitate to his work. "My sand art work has distinctly light and heavy strokes. There is roughness in subtleness and subtleness in roughness, and there are rhythms and emotions, which are more than technique.” In addition, because he once worked in the media, he also thinks from the angle of producing a program, which is also difficult for other sand artists to copy. He came to the conclusions that “In terms of receiving live performance invitations, the most important thing is to think what the audience will want to see, rather than what I intend to perform.” Information power, action power, internal value, image keeping and technique are the main factors of his being the foremost sand artist among the Chinese people. Will always being dubbed “foremost” impose unnecessary pressure on him? He replied that, if you want to become the best in the world, you should not live in the shadow of others, and that you should not be easily influenced by what others say of you. Just like what he has learned from sand art, even if you practice a great deal prior to a performance, there might emerge unpredictable situations after you formally go on the stage. When you draw well, you don’t need to get overjoyed, as the work will not last long. And when you draw badly, you don’t need to become dejected, as the end of the performance will certainly occur, and all will pass. “As long as you try your best at the moment and have a clear conscience,” said Minta. Isn’t life like this, too? He added that he never worries too much, because there is a whole raft of innovative aesthetic ideas saved in his mind, and even if he stopped creating sand art works tomorrow, he would still be able to create another kind of art that is the most innovative in the world.
